OUR STORY

Closing Ranks ("Metzamtzemim Revachim") was founded in September 2015 by former
officers from IDF Paratroopers Battalion 50/101 and their wives. The gaps between Israeli citizens motivated us to make Israeli society more egalitarian.

We ensure everyone stays close together, in the same way as in the military marches, drills and operation.
We provide personal guidance and empowerment to young people who completed their military or national service and lack a strong family support, while transitioning to independent civilian living. We harness our abilities, connections and experience to help them with employment, education, housing, community relations and financial conduct.

Our volunteers, as well as the young people we support, are not necessarily graduates of our battalion

THE WORK SETTING

The mentoring we provide is meant to help the young people realize their potential with the help of meaningful, trusting
relationship with an adult, who is experienced and knowledgeable in a broad range of areas. The mentoring process seeks to help them become independent citizens, who make their own contribution to Israeli society
